With a modern, industrial style, the main goal of this project was to create an inviting & collaborative space for employees & community members. Upon entering the building, we included plenty of diverse, open seating options along with a bookcase that acts as a community library that houses inspirational & educational resources. Five offices make up the core of the space flanking the hallway that leads to a breakroom & larger conference room where trainings, meetings, and other events are held.

Divided into administrative and public & private service providing areas, this office design serves as a major spatial upgrade from Zoom Physical Therapy's previous Victoria office. The design centers around a large open gym space with plenty of natural light. We also included to-scale equipment in the floor plan to help organize the space.

REMODEL DESIGN
Focused on expanding their current bay house by adding an owner's suite, game room, enclosed garage/tack room, and efficiency while making their kitchen bigger by pushing out towards their property line, these clients were ready for a major design upgrade. Situated on the water, the kitchen & living space has relaxing views of the bay that we made sure to preserve in the remodel design. The final plan centers around multiple incorporated areas to support hosting & entertaining from built-in bunk beds to an indoor/outdoor serving bar.

NEW CONSTRUCTION DESIGN
With its contemporary style, this project can be described as not-your-typical bay house. The floor plan and design is luxurious yet functional focusing square footage in the areas that are top priorities for the homeowners -- The Kitchen, Living Room, & Owner's Suite. With a bayside location, this custom plan features plenty of windows for ample natural light and views to the water along with a back deck that acts as an extension of the main living spaces.

NEW CONSTRUCTION DESIGN
Combining the perfect balance of private & semi-private spaces, this financial advisory office exudes professionalism. A main goal was to create a natural flow throughout the space organized by level of privacy. The final design situates the lobby and conference room at it's core with adjacent office manager & assistant offices. Two partner offices border the back, outer edge of the floor plan offering the most amount of privacy and feature vaulted ceilings for personal decor.

This downtown remodel involved transforming the existing kitchen and laundry areas by improving cabinetry layout and optimizing storage areas. One large island replaced three original islands becoming a focal point that coordinated well with the existing window wall. To expand the space further, we incorporated pass through serving bar by opening up an existing solid wall with an adjacent sitting area -- perfect for hosting and entertaining guests. Lastly, we optimized the functionality of the laundry room by adding basket storage, a hanging rod, and designing in a mud bench that serves as a drop zone when entering the home from the garage.

Keeping an appreciation of the ceilings & floors in mind, this old building remodel in downtown Yorktown will be a venue for events such as small weddings, bridal and baby showers, & more. Our main goals were to achieve a versatile space with a signature, yet neutral look along with improving the functionality of the warming kitchen for ease of use during catered events. The design features a large open area with plenty of flexibility for table layouts, a warming kitchen & laundry space, serving area, two restrooms, & a storage area. Floor-to-ceiling partitions act as a focal point that provide some division of the space while maintaining visual connection.

We were referred to Shelby Stange and Grey Feather Design Studio to advise us on designing an office building renovation. When we mentioned modern industrial design, she said that was one of her favorites! My wife and I, being somewhat creative and holding strong opinions, pretty much told Shelby what we wanted it to look like. When we met with her a couple of weeks later, she showed us two designs that were both exactly what we thought we wanted. However, she reluctantly unveiled a third plan. She had taken many liberties with the design and added her unique vision for the project... and we are SO grateful she did! The design was incredible! We are almost done with the remodel and renovation as I write this, but enough has been done to showcase how amazing it is! We can’t wait for the finished product.
