You're a good fit for Grey Feather if you already own land to build on or a house/building you're wanting to remodel.

We enjoy working with clients who are excited about the design process, trust the expertise of a design professional, appreciate detailed feedback, provide timely communication, and enjoy a collaborative working relationship.

how do I know if we're a good fit?

We are not an interior design studio & do not offer services such as sourcing & ordering fixtures or specifying finishes for your space. However, we are happy to make general suggestions and give an accurate feel for how certain colors & textures would look through our rendering process. 

If you think you are looking for an interior designer instead, we are happy to provide recommendations local to Victoria, TX.

Do you offer interior design services?

After receiving your initial design presentation, you will have three opportunities to request revisions prior to our completion date. After the plan set is finalized, you may request additional revisions at an additional hourly fee.

how do revisions work?

Each project varies in size & scope but our average new construction project timeline is generally 10-14 weeks and our average remodel project timeline is 12-16 weeks. Our services are typically booked months in advance, so be sure to reach out in a timely manner so that we can reserve your project dates in our calendar.

how long will it take for you to complete my project?

By default, our payment plans are divided into three installments. The first installment is due upon booking to secure your project start date & the next two due dates will be specified in your contract according to your project scope & timeline.

do you offer payment plans?

First, you'll complete the above form above so that we can best serve you. Next, we'll reach out via email with more details about our services to make sure we're a good fit. If all is in alignment, you'll then be prompted to schedule a 20-min Discovery Call so that we can talk about your project in more detail.

Depending on project scope, it is possible that your project may need additional engineering and/or mechanical drawings after our services are complete. 

The following items are outside of our expertise, so Grey Feather does not provide:

  • Foundation plans
  • Mechanical drawings (location of heating & air equipment & duct work)
  • Plumbing drawings (showing the actual plumbing pipe sizes & locations)
  • Energy calculations

Will my project need additional engineering?

No -- Although I did study Architecture in college, I am not licensed. In Texas, designers like me are able to provide services within parameters established by the TBAE & the local municipality of the project location.

From my experience & conversations with the City of Victoria's Development Services Department, the nature of Grey Feather's design services have been welcomed & encouraged here locally.
